Grail Wine Selections is a young company specializing in exclusive, estate-grown Italian wines with an impeccable pedigree and a commitment to earth friendly growing practices. The consulting winemakers at these very limited production estates are the Italian equivalents of California cult winemakers Helen Turley (Bryant Family, Colgin), Bob Levy (Harlan Estate), and Heidi Peterson Barrett (Screaming Eagle).
Our Luca d’Attoma’s first feature in the Wine Spectator (WS) appeared in the October 31, 2003 issue cover article on “Italy’s New Generation”. Again, in the October 31, 2005 WS article “Transforming Tuscany”, Luca is singled out as one of the best and brightest winemakers of Italy. His boyish grin beams out from the October 31, 2007 issue of the WS as the “consulting enologist who made a 100 point Merlot in 2004…” and most recently in the 2008 issue of the WS, his very own wine production, Duemani, was listed as one of the great "wineries to watch."
